I am a self taught metalsmith with 20 years experience. I travel the country doing approximately 85 art festivals each year. I hand fabricate artisan jewelry from copper, brass, bronze and silver sheet metal and wire. I individually hand craft each piece by forging, fold forming, and fabricating the metal; often incorporating gemstone beads and other unique finds. In addition to metalwork, I hand weave jewelry from seed beads using traditional methods.

I make/create (all myself by hand) Gel wax candles, organic beeswax candles, organic beeswax melts, and currently working on reed diffusers. The majority of my candles contain rocks that i have collected from my many adventures down gravel roads. Each candle is named after a popular route, and/or road within the state of Minnesota.

The beewax melts are made with recycled candle wax from my beeswax candles that just didn’t make “cut” (cosmetically). Instead of creating more waste I created a long lasting (fragrance wise) beeswax melt. Some of them do contain home grown botanicals which is completely safe to use with wax melts.

All fragrances are clean burning, vegan/cruelty free, and toxin free.

I create modern, luxury metal artwork using digitally hand-drawn designs that are plasma-cut, individually patina-finished, and sealed with automotive-grade clear coat for exceptional durability. Every piece is meticulously hand-finished, and no two patina reactions are ever identical, resulting in artwork with true one-of-a-kind character. My work blends contemporary design with organic, nature-inspired forms, producing sculptural metal pieces that cast shifting shadows and transform with light. Each piece is built to last a lifetime, designed as heirloom-quality metal art meant to be enjoyed for generations. While my botanical and abstract work anchors my collection, I also create personalized pet silhouettes drawn from real animals, bringing emotional connection and fine craftsmanship together in a lasting, elevated medium.

From whole hides, I cut down the leather into pieces for 5 different styles of purses, 4 styles of wallets, 3 sizes of journals, pocket knife sheaths, 4 weights of dog leashes, guitar straps, toiletry bags, and many smaller items such as moose and canoe ornaments, jewelry, lanyards, and key fobs.
I then pencil my designs on the leather, carve it into the leather with a swivel knife and then using approximately 100 different stamps, I bring my designs to life.
The next step is to paint my designs with leather acrylic paints, apply a finish to highlight the fine cuts and details, then finish it by sealing the leather to make it weather resistant. I also use many colors of dyes on the pieces of leather that I do not tool. Using dyes, I can make wood grain and camouflage designs on the leather.
My final step is to hand sew the items using waxed polyester threads of many colors. I do not own a sewing machine so all of my items are hand sewn.
My items are both stain and weather resistant, bright and colorful and are constructed to last for many years and generations of use.

We take great pride in crafting 100% beeswax candles that tell the story of our home in the Driftless Region. Our candles are known for their brilliant golden hue and soft honey scent. To highlight the natural beauty of the wax we created our Infinity Twisted Candles as well as sculpting many of our own woodland inspired molds. By supporting small family beekeepers, we are able to play a part in keeping our local economy and environment buzzing! We believe we are all interconnected from the smallest bee to the biggest hearts.

Book #1: The award-winning monster thriller novel called DEEPSTONE.
Deepstone released in August 2025. It takes place in Northern Minnesota in a fictional version of the Tower/Soudan Underground Mine. It won as a Finalist in the IAN 2025 Book of the Year Awards. And KIRKUS Reviews gave it a “GET IT!” review and featured the review in their January 15, 2026 issue of KIRKUS Magazine. Few independent authors are featured in their magazine. Wrote a book that takes place in Virginia and at Laker Vermillion.  Create new and unique pieces from taking apart vintage jewelry.

I use a combination of handbuilding and wheel throwing to produce my forms, alternating between white earthenware & a white speckled stoneware for my works. My imagery work is achieved through a combination of underglaze pencil drawings and watercolor-like painting. My imagery includes original, hand drawn images of storybook and woodland inspired motifs. Raccoons, skunks, bears, deer, and foxes are some of my favorites to draw, set in whimsical floral wreaths, or woodland settings. My vintage feminine work focuses on the colors and textures seen in vintage textiles, using buttons, lace and stamps to create textures and designs on works.
Finally, I focus on a line of work considered more “rustic modern”, where I focus mostly on simpler forms, glaze layering, and color development.
Most of my imagery and vintage feminine work is fired inside an electric kiln to cone 04 or 6, depending on the clay body, while my more rustic color study work alternates between electric & gas firing.

The media for all my pieces are fiber/textile and are hand made by me with the help of family members. The designs and patterns are derived from the Hmong culture and have symbolic meanings. My products are machine sewed and hand stitched using different stitching techniques including cross-stitching, long stitching, and reverse appliqué. My work includes:

A Minnesota author of eight award-winning maritime mysteries set on the cost of Maine, where I have sailed since 1995. I also wrote a MN series set in Grand Marais/Grand Portage area that features an Ojibwe (Anishinaabe) protagonist. As an author, I create rich, visual settings and well-developed characters that draw in my readers.  Minnesotans love their local authors, and I have been a popular presence at art and craft festivals throughout MN for many years.

I create limited edition art through a relief printmaking process. Each design is hand carved from a block and hand printed with oil based ink on cotton paper. All frames offered are hand made with solid hard woods.

We make an all natural and organic hand and body scrub. It helps with dry cracked skin, and itchy skin problems like eczema, psoriasis, bug bites, and poison ivy. It even removes grease, glues, and oils for those working hands! We demo our scrub at our booth for customers to try.

Fun and functional pottery made in Northern Minnesota. I work with stoneware clay and hand build whimsical critters or use my wheel to throw mugs, bowls, and other dishware. My work is colorful and every piece is unique. I like to experiment with form, color and texture, inspired by the creativity of Mother Nature.

I sell gourmet Varietal Honeys. I sell a minimum of seven (and possibly more) different honeys, each with their own unique color, aroma and taste, all dependent solely upon the flowers visited by the honeybees. Nothing is added or infused. This is 100% honey, but each one is so different. I sell the honey in high-quality glass jars (12 oz.) and in sampler flights of 5 different varietals in a beautiful, branded box.

I am a local author and all the books I wrote take place in Northern Mn. I have 9 books in total with a tenth coming out this spring. They are woman’s fiction with a love story.

I hand paint rocks and ceramic coasters. My favorite subjects to paint are nature, sports, comics, music, Christmas, and anything fun. I use glow paint in some of my work. I do everything myself from gathering the rocks on the shores of Lake Superior, to prepping, painting with acrylic paints, and triple seal coating at the end.
