Gifts Made By Hand

The media for all my pieces are fiber/textile and are hand made by me with the help of family members. The designs and patterns are derived from the Hmong culture and have symbolic meanings. My products are machine sewed and hand stitched using different stitching techniques including cross-stitching, long stitching, and reverse appliqué. My work includes:
Sand Creatures – Variety of animals ranging in sizes, colors, designs, and prices. Sand creatures include but are not limited to frogs, turtles, lizards, cats, dogs, mermaids, dragons and snakes.
Purses – Various styles (coin purses, tote bags, hand bags, book bags, briefcases, regular purses, etc.), ranging in sizes, colors, designs and prices. The majority of my purses are made using recycled pieces from Hmong traditional clothing.
